Starting Young

Paityn has recently decided that she is going to exercise just like mommy, so she gets dressed in her t-shirt, shorts and "running" shoes and gets her water bottle and goes to town. I know that some of you may think this is somewhat "unsafe", but I assure you that the speed is very low and she is monitored very closely during her "workout". You might notice the small bike in the bottom of the picture - that is her "exercise bike" (video game bike) that she uses while I am on the treadmill. I think it's great that she likes to exercise and hopefully if I continue to do my workouts she will grow up thinking it is just something you do and it is fun too! No pressure, right? :)

The First Step Is Admitting You Have A Problem...

I know, I know. Make up my mind already! But I CAN'T. I have a serious problem with changing my hair style/color and I can't stop myself. I'm not sure if there is a support group for that or not. I always think that I like my hair lighter/blonde, but when I see pictures I really don't like it, so back to dark I go. At least this color makes me look like I belong in the same family as my children. I'm REALLY going to try to keep it this way for a long time because it is getting really dried out (weird!). Okay, I feel better now that that is off my chest!

It's Merry, Not Meryy

So I was just looking at my page and realized that the words "Merry Christmas" are spelled "Meryy Christmas" on the background. I can't believe it took me this long to notice it, I'm usually pretty good at picking those things out. Anyway, being the perfectionist I am I was going to pick a new background, but I really like this one and am going to keep it for now. Sorry if the typo bothers any one else as much as it does me, but I'm sure that it probably doesn't - I have issues.

Boise State Football Game

I was fortunate enough (thanks to my super cousin Jacki) to go to the BSU football game this weekend. It was a lot of fun, other than the weather. I'm sure that if any of you watched it on TV you saw how miserable it was. I was prepared , however, with MULTIPLE layers and the only part of me that really got cold were my feet.

This picture is part of our group, minus my Aunt Jill who got really wet and left a little early. From left to right is Jacki, myself and Aunt Jeane. These ladies are a blast! I wish I had more chances to hang out with them.

Bad Spidy and the Spider Princess

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! Both of the kids knew what the objective was and they were unstoppable, well almost....Poor Paityn kept trying to run to keep up with Jace while we were Trick-or-Treating and her dress was too long so she fell down several times. Then Jace was walking around through some blowup decorations in one of our neighbors' yards when a guy dressed like a scary clown jumped out of one of them and grabbed him. The poor kid almost died, you could hear him crying for miles! Other than that we had a great time. We started out by going to the Halloween Carnival at the Middle School where the kids played games to win candy and then came back to our neighborhood to Trick-or-Treat. Needless to say, they came home with WAY too much candy and of course I had to remedy that situation by selecting a few for myself :) Here they are all decked out, I thought they looked amazing!
