I LOVE summer!!!! Yesterday was GORGEOUS, so we decided to take the kids to a lake just outside of Boise (there are lakes closer to us, but we had never been there before and someone from work had told Tim that there was good fishing there). The kids had a blast playing in the water, which was freezing but actually felt pretty good after sitting in the hot sun for a few minutes.
You can't really tell from the pictures, but there was quite a lot of beach and the mountains were beautiful.
Jace is going through an "I don't want my picture taken" phase, so he seems to have the same expression on his face in every picture. Oh well, hopefully he gets over it soon.
Paityn hasn't been around the water a lot, but she did really good. The first thing she did was run out in the water up to her bottom, which she was fine with until she fell down and was then sitting on her bottom with water up to her neck. She freaked and wouldn't get up so Jace had to save her. After that she was a little more hesitant and would only go in up to her knees. She really liked the raft though and we spent most of the time out in it. What a great day!

That looks like so much fun. My little Jordan asks me everyday when can we go to the beach.
Looks like a fun summer starting. I think there are time when we all think there should be zoo for kids. You sure have two cute monkeys.
That looks like fun, I can't wait to take them out on Lake CDA. We're going to have so much fun!
