Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl! You all know what's coming...I can't believe it has already been 3 years since this little "angel" came kicking and screaming into the world. I remember thinking to myself as she was shrieking this high pitch, ear piercing scream as they were weighing and measuring her, "I have a feeling this may be a glimpse into her personality". And I was right. She had us (and the doctor) convinced that she had some stomach issues as an infant because she screamed so much that we figured she must be in pain. I even gave up eating ALL dairy products for 5 months because they thought she might be lactose intolerant. Now that I know my little Paityn, I am convinced that she was just letting us know that something wasn't being done exactly how she wanted it! During one appointment I remember the doctor telling me that it was a good thing that I was not a first time mother or an extremely young mother because "when babies cry like this is when they often get shaken". :)
Paityn was born at 7:40 a.m., weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 20 1/2 in. She was so tiny compared to Jace, she had these tiny little bird legs and the bow that I took to the hospital for her covered her entire head and part of her face! It doesn't seem possible that that was 3 years ago.
Here is my beautiful girl now. I chose this picture because it is a perfect example of regular everyday Paityn. Her hair is ALWAYS sticking straight up somewhere and she always has that perfect little smile (except when she isn't getting her way, after all, it's Paityn's way or the highway!).She brings so much happiness to our house. Tim and I often just sit there and laugh because she is so entertaining just to watch. Tim's nickname for her is "CrazyLegs" and she thinks it's great. There honestly is never a dull moment when Paityn is "in the house". I love you Sissy, Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Paityn! She is a one wild, but I bet if you ask mom or dad it was Nicki's way or the highway at one time too. She may look like Tim, but her "I can do anything you can do better" came straight from her momma.
Happy Birthday Paityn. You are such a darling little girl, just like your mom!!!
