Birthday Party and Easter

We had a very busy weekend. We left Friday at about 3:00 and headed to Pocatello, where my mom met us and took the kids so Tim and I could go to Idaho Falls to my Aunt Carisa's birthday party. We left the party at 10:00 and got to Inkom at about 11:00. We had to get up at 5:00 the next morning so we could get to my mom's house before she had to leave for work at 6:30. We then had to get the kids, get back to Inkom, set up for the party and get to Pocatello to pick up the cake and icecream. Phew! The party started at 3:00, we opened presents and had cake and icecream. Then at about 5:30 we started to barbeque hamburgers and had dinner followed by egg coloring and assembling the new Dora Big Wheel. The next morning was Easter so we were up bright and early to find out what the Bunny had brought. Then we had a nice Easter breakfast and headed outside to hunt eggs. Needless to say, I was exhausted and even took a little nap on the ride home (which I NEVER do). Thanks Dad and Janis for hosting everything so that everyone wasn't trying to make it to Mountain Home in a snow storm, and thanks Mom for watching the kids so we could go to the party!

Paityn picked out her cake because she LOVES flipflops. I told the lady when I picked it up that it would have been more appropriate to put snow boots on it!

This last picture is of the Ariel costume that she got on her actual birthday. She kept jumping off the footstool saying, "Pretend you heard a big splash!".

She looks so cute in the mermaid dress. Yes, boots would have been more appropriate this weekend. Cute Cake!!
