Last week I was "surfing the web" and happened to come across an article about free train rides here in Mountain Home. My kids have been dying to ride a train for a long time and we didn't really know where to take them to do it. It was just a one day thing as part of a "Railroad Awareness Campaign" through Union Pacific, so I'm really glad I found out about it and didn't miss the opportunity.
Here are the kids with their tickets waiting to get on the train. They were somewhat disappointed when the conductor didn't come around and punch their tickets once we were seated (courtesy of "The Polar Express").
Jace enjoying the "scenery". When you live in a desert there isn't much to see.

Daddy and Paityn trying to find our house.
Cool dudes.
Cool chics.

How fun! Katilyn has been wanting to ride one, but really where do you go to ride a train. Guess I better see if there is an Awareness ride here.
What a good mom you are, finding that out. I bet Jace was in heaven with his mom and dad on the train.
